Versatility:

There was also a lot of versatility to this site as well. Images, text, even YouTube videos could be added into the one presentation. It also allowed you to present your information in any way that you wanted that was creative and captivating.

Easy of Use:

At first this site looks very complicated to use, but they do offer you a guide to help you get to know the basics of the site. A bit of trial an error may be required, but in the end it will be worth while.

Collaboration:

Just like Nota, this site doesn't have collaboration qualities. People who have access to the account can change what is on it, but two people cannot be working on it at the same time.

The first online website that i used was Nota.

Versatility:

The versatility of this website was immerse. I was able to add in images, text, shapes even frames all about penguins (: I also decided to add in my video from term one to see if videos could also be uploaded and they could.

Easy of Use:

This programme is rather straight forward to use. All the editing tools are located on the left of the page and you can add images, text, video, frames, etc. by icons on the right side. This website was easy to use and get the hang of very quickly and it doesn't require a lot of skill to make it look nice.

Collaboration:

Only one person can be working on the presentation at one time. If two people were working on it the programme become sligthly unresponsive as it it constantly saving the work that you are doing.

The speed has over the years increased greatly, starting with only a speed of 2MHz it now as the capabilities of running at speed of 3.6 GHz. The speed is a function of the manufacturing process and the delays within the chip.

It stand for “millions of instructions per second” It roughly measures the performance of the CPU.

What is a dual core processor?

A duel core processor is a CPU with two separate cores on the same die, each with its own cache

What is Multitasking?

A method where multiple tasks, also known as processes, share common processing resources

How do they work together?

By having multiple processors on a single server, the tasks running on the server can be divided between the processors to allow the system has a whole to function faster.

Broadband Research Part 1:

1.      What is broadband?

According to dictionary.com broadband is: Adjective: Of or using signals over a wide range of frequencies in high-capacity telecommunications, esp. as used for access to the Internet. Broadband can also be and internet connection that is faster than a dial up connection. A connection of 256 kbit/s or greater is more concisely considered broadband Internet access.

2.      Outline the methods of delivery of broadband (wireless, cable, ADSL and fibre)? Identify the speed of each method.

• Wireless:  A connection can be made to the internet without the use of a telephone or cable line. A modem is connected to your computer and communicates by using radio signals to a receiver in your area. Speeds of 256/64kb to 512/128kb are common for wireless connections.
• Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL): digital data transmission over the wires of a local telephone network. It works by splitting your phone line signal into two separate channels, one for normal voice usage and the other for internet usage. This is done by placing a splitter on the existing phone line that enables both voice and internet communication. Most forms cannot reach 10 Mbps.
• Cable: Cable broadband is made from a co-ax material which greatly increases bandwidth limits. Cable Internet uses the already existing wires that are used to transfer television signals to your home. You can even use your cable wire for Internet access at the same time that you are using it for television. Cable technology supports approximately 30 Mbps of bandwidth

·         Fibre:  Fibre Broadband uses Fibre Optic cable to deliver data and is able to deliver it faster and also much more of it than can be done with the existing copper wires currently in use. Can offer broadband speeds up to 100 Mbps!

 Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each method.

ADVANTAGES:

Fibre: superfast broadband,  easier for multiple people in one house to be doing multiple things at once

ADSL: Speed is very fast, Convenience, Fixed Cost, no more modem screeching noises

Cable: Reliable Speed and Quality, No Telephone Interference

Wireless: Access the Internet Anywhere, Convenience

DISADVANTAGES:

Fibre: They aren’t currently available everywhere.

ADSL: Signal Reliability, Speed Reliability

Cable: Busy Networks, Special Modem, Limits to download amount, Installation

Wireless: Speed is considerably slow, Reliability, Compromised security, Cost

Tanisha: France, and i can go to Venace. Oh this is beautiful!

Diyomira: Now you have one last wish, Be very careful. Once you say it i’ll be gone and make sure you don’t forget anything or anyone.

Tanisha: I wish to go home.

Diyomira: All by yourself?

Tanisha: Yes i really just want to go home!

Diyomira: Well then if going home by yourself is what you really want.

Assigment: Synopisis

The story idea that our group (Kayeleanne, Tanisha and me) has done is quite cliched. It is basically about two girlswho go out to lunch, only to discover that no one esle is there. AS they are walkign they fall and find themselves in a new area . Then they lose each other, but with the help of a magical genie they two girls eventually get re-united.We only see the story of one of the girls adventures with the genie though. At the end though we find out that things weren't quite the same as it always was.

There isnt really a typical age group, it would suit any one who would want to watch it as it is a simple story and can be understood by most who watch it.

LESSON: Karma does pay and to not be greedy.
